Service provided by Countryside Industries 

Producers will be billed $15.00 per head for the removal service by the Scott County Conservation District.  

The Dead Animal Removal Program is administered by the Scott County Conservation District using funds provided by the Scott County Fiscal Court, Governor's Office of Agricultural Policy, and the Kentucky Division of Conservation to cover the majority of the $100.00 per head cost.

 Those who are current in payment of their portion of the cost will be eligible to participate in other local cost share programs.  

Provider (Countryside Industries) will pick up dead livestock at the location of the carcass,

PROVIDED:

1.  The location must be accessible by public roadway.

2.  The carcass must be located by public roadway.

3.  The carcass must be located in such a location that the Provider can SAFELY load the animal.

4.  The carcass must be on a hard surface (i.e. gravel, concrete, or asphalt).

5.  Provider shall have no obligation to open or close gates and will NOT climb fences, traverse grass or dirt paths.

6.  Provider will NOT enter into barns, enclosed areas or areas where live animals are present.

7.  The person or persons desiring the removal of said dead livestock shall be responsible for moving said carcass to such a location as described hereinabove prior to pick up.

8.  The Provider reserves the right to refuse services to an Producer, any location or any animal, for any reason.
